Die Gaming Disorder wurde unlängst von der WHO als Verhaltenssucht in das internationale Klassifikationssystem von Erkrankungen aufgenommen. Über (Online-) Spiele hinausgehend werden auch andere Internetapplikationen suchtartig genutzt, wie beispielsweise soziale Netzwerkseiten, Online-Pornografie und Online-Shoppingseiten. Der Vortrag beleuchtet psychologische und neurobiologische Mechanismen von Internetnutzungsstörungen.

How are we going to work with ChatGPT in the education world? Is banning it the answer? How effective was it to ban alcohol in the 20th century? Esther Wojcicki will discuss how education needs to incorporate TRICK (her acronym for success) into the classroom and into parenting to promote thinkers to solve our 21st century challenges. TRICK means to be trusted and respected, given independence, collaborated with instead of dictated to and treated with kindness. She will discuss ways of incorporating TRICK into the classroom and deal with the challenge of ChatGPT.
